Cosmetic tattoos are beauty-enhancing tattoos designed to be classic, timeless, and suitable for your face shape.
All cosmetic tattoos services start with mapping out your ideal shape or placement based on your bone structure and facial features. Color is determined based on your skin tone, undertones and hair color for natural results.
Cosmetic tattoos require 2 initial sessions 8 weeks apart, and then follow up sessions every few years as they start to fade. If you are a return client, feel free to book your follow up session based on how long it has been since we last had you in studio.

Just fill out our appointment request form to get started! Please include photos of your face in natural lighting along with your availability. Cosmetic tattoos are offered Wednesday- Friday with 11am and afternoon appointments available.
FAQ’S AND AFTERCARE
Pre-Care:
1 month: no Botox or fillers around the area.
2 weeks: no microdermabrasion, facials, chemical peels, regenerative creams, exfoliants and retinol, or retain-A.
1 week: no tanning or sunburn.
3 days: no tinting, plucking, or waxing brows. Do not take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E, fish oil, or any blood thinners. Tylonel is okay.
24 hours leading up: no workouts, heavy sweating or exercise, alcoholic beverages, caffeine, or coffee.
Lip clients- make sure you come hydrated! Drink at least 8 glasses of water daily starting 5 days before your appointment.
Aftercare:
2 weeks: wash at least 2x a day with non- scented soap and moisturize with a natural lotion. No direct sun, swimming, sweating or intense or hot exercise.
Cosmetic tattoos can look very bold and “makeup-y” for the first 3-5 days so it is not recommended to get them done immediately before big life events or family photos.
Freckle tattoos are a way to get that sun kissed look without the sun damage. You can get as many or as few as you’d like, from just a few beauty marks to a sprinkling of freckles. Freckle tattoos are mapped based on your personal preference and where sunlight would naturally hit your bone structure.
Lip blush is a cosmetic tattoo that enhances your natural lip color. This technique can range from a natural look, like tinted chapstick or a more opaque look, like a lip stain. It gives your lips a wash of color that is smudge proof, waterproof and sweatproof.
Cosmetic tattoos fade over time and require follow up sessions to maintain them. Factors such as skin type, lifestyle, age, metabolism, medications, sun exposure affect how long you can go between sessions.
After the two initial sessions, most folks are able to go between 1-3 years before needing a follow up.
3.5 hours are allotted for first time brow and lip appointments, though we are often done sooner. The extra time allows ample time for mapping, shaping, measuring, and a half hour numbing break. Follow up sessions are 2.5 hours or less.
Freckles appointments are under 2 hours and Astrofrecks are less than 1.
All are forms of permanent makeup brows and all can give you natural results! They are all designed to enhance your natural brows by providing more fullness and shape. During your consultation or appointment, we will determine the best service based on your natural brow shape, skin type, age and lifestyle.
Microblading is not recommended for those over 25 or with very oily skin or large pores. A recommended alternative is microshading or combination shading and microblading technique.
Additionally, we do not provide Cosmetic Tattoos/PMU to those who are:
- under 18 years old
- pregnant or nursing
- if you have diabetes, glaucoma,
- skin diseases including: Shingles, psoriasis or eczema on the area of treatment
- if taking blood thinners, heart medications, aspirin or products containing aspirin, medications for diabetes, lupus or any autoimmune disease
- allergies to makeup
- Keloid disorder, HIV/Hepatitis, skin cancer, hemophilia, or if you’re taking skin medications like accutane and steroids.
- or if you’ve had Botox in the last month;
If you are under a physician’s care, a written release stating it is safe for you to get the procedure done is required. Examples are if you are going through chemo or have diabetes.
Vitamins or supplements that thin the blood must not be taken prior to your procedure, with the consent of your health care provider.
All deposits are non-refundable.
We require a 72-hour notice if an appointment needs to be cancelled or rescheduled. If last-minute, another deposit will be needed in order to reschedule the appointment.
A deposit is required in order to book an appointment.
Deposits range from $50-200 depending on the appointment!
•A $50 deposit is required for ANY tattoo appointment! Consultations do not require a deposit, they are free of charge.
•If there are multiple people getting tattoos, we may ask for everyone to put down each of their own deposit!
•If you have an appointment, a deposit is required. If you did not put down a deposit, your appointment is NOT finalized.
•For appointments booked more than 3 months in advance, we may ask for a larger deposit ($150-$200). This is what holds your spot in the artists calendar!
All deposits are taken off the final cost of your tattoo!

The artist does their part by providing a custom treatment formulated just for you and your look. Clients are responsible for maintaining aftercare during the healing process.
Our after care instructions are provided at the end of your service, to create the best results. There is NO guarantee in the final results, as the healing process, how your skin type responds, and your personal aftercare maintenance may effect your results.
Touch ups should be booked no sooner than 8 weeks following your appointment. Your skin must heal before any additional treatment.
All transactions are final and no refunds will be issued.
